The Oneness Of Man And Woman.
It is something beautiful and pure,
Between a man and woman –
Who are deeply in love,
Have a full friendship,
And are strongly attracted to each other.
It is something good and holy,
Between a man and woman –
Who are deeply committed and have married – if at all possible.
For marriage and commitment are the holy sacraments
Under which God bestowed this aspect of life upon humanity.
It is something special and sacred,
Between a man and a woman –
Who are deeply fond of children and mankind as a whole,
Having prepared themselves to look after, nurture and guide
Any new life that may come about through their union.
It is therefore, an integral part of our universe which He created.
And as He created it,
It is, and will always be –
Pure, holy, sacred and special.
Not just in the past, but always……
