A Thought – No, Just A Feeling…
Beauty is not in the eyes of the beholder.
It lies in our spirit of love,
And of peace.
Of harmony,
And of destiny.
It has no unique physical form
But has the ability to touch the heart.
It can tare, it can save.
It can complete, it can begin.
But in whatever form it is displayed – its essence is everlasting.
At last I think I understand – that for somethings,
Words are too futile to express what we feel.
No language speaks the way of our heart;
For our heart holds neither an essay, nor a poem;
It only holds a feeling.
And that feeling,
Is what we all seek to rediscover.
Whether through our calling in life,
Through our chosen partner,
Our achievements, or some other.
And so I’ve written you this universal thought;
For it is you who has reached out
And touched my soul,
Filled my being,
And completed my heart –
Through your love
Your truth and gentleness,
Your patience and kindness.
This did not occur
By way of a worldly gimmick –
But through a great quality, that few still possess;
And that is of just being yourself –
No more, or less.
